Site Update

5/31/08 A couple autos this week from 50/50 trades... one just in the nick of time from Reds prospect Jay Bruce and one from Blue Jays prospect Travis Snider. Thanks to Dan over at D&N Autos for hooking me up on the 50/50 for the Bruce. Bruce is tearing it up since getting the call to the Reds.

With the exception of all the player pages, I believe everything is hooked up with the new design. If anyone finds any broken links, please let me know. Thanks!

5/24/08 So I've been having some trouble with my templates so I'm not quite ready to get all of these pages up and going but I did finally get through all of the AFL stuff I had plus a few other things I've received since then. Through the mail I've received Chris Duncan of the Cardinals and prospect Tyler Herron. I received Cardinals prospect Colby Rasmus through a 50/50 trade and I'm pretty happy with how that went. On 50/50 trades from the Arizona Fall League I received Padres prospect Matt Antonelli, Rangers prospect John Mayberry Jr., Kansas City Royals prospect Chris Lubanski, Orioles prospect Nolan Reimold, Rangers prospect Taylor Teagarden, Colorado Rockies prospect Dexter Fowler, Oakland A's prospect Aaron Cunningham, Astros prospect Josh Flores, Phillies prospect Joe Savery, and Angels prospect Sean Rodriguez.

4/13/08  So as I was saying, I think I'm going to start updating the site again.   I've been dragged, kicking and screaming (well, maybe not dragged) into things so there should be some action on the site soon.  I have a few returns from the offseason to report today and I'll have a bunch of 50/50 autographs from the AFL to report as well.  The AFL stuff may take a while to post, there's a lot of scanning I need to do.  So anyway, I will also be working to finish the new site design so I hope to be able to complete that soon... a few weeks or so maybe.  There may be some other big news coming as well but I'll leave that under a thin veil of mystery for now.  So anyways... here are my most recent returns.  One from Dodgers youngster James Loney, one from Padres shorstop Khalil Greene, one from Phillies prospect Adrian Cardenas, and finally one from O's prospect Nolan Reimold. 

3/25/08  Well it appears someone gained access to my account somehow.  I suspect it's something on my host's behalf because their service has been horrible lately and my password is rather tough to crack... so much so that I've never in 14 years of using the internet had a password cracked.  Anyway... I've changed the password and if it happens again I'll know for sure it's my host.  I've been away from the hobby for a while since I sold the message board.  All the time it takes to be a part of the hobby and to update the site just finally caught up with me.  I'd like to say I'll be back at it but the reality is I probably won't be back in the hobby and updating the site.  It stopped being fun for me and just became a chore to be done every day.  I still like to look at my collection online sometimes so I've kept the site up and running and will probably continue to keep it up although if someone is interested in buying the site or the domain or even my entire collection then I might consider, who knows. 

11/11/07  Returns lately... one from Mariners top prospect Wladimir Balentien, one from Astros rookie Hunter Pence, one from Brewers pitcher Chris Capuano, one from Reds prospect Craig Tatum, and one from Phillies prospect Jeremy Slayden.  I also received some autos from 50/50 trades... one of Yankees minor leaguer Omir Santos, one from Yankees minor leaguer Jason Jones, one from Yankees prospect Chase Wright, and one from Yankees prospect Kevin Whelan. Most viewed scans for October were for Ryan Zimmerman, Jeff Bagwell, and Joe Savery followed by Ian Kinsler and Justin Upton.
